Quick Save/Load allow you to instantly save and load the last save during gameplay by pressing Analogue and Up to capture a save state and Analogue and Down to load a save state. This is a beta feature and you can only hold one save state at a time during gameplay. When Pocket is powered off you will lose your save state. You cannot add save states to Pocket or remove save states from Pocket with Quick Save/Load (Beta). Memories (coming in OS v1.1) will allow you to do everything imaginable with save states. This beta feature is for those who are interested in have access to save states during gameplay before Memories is released.

How to update your Analogue Pocket firmware

1. Download "pocket_firmware_x_x.bin" attached on this page. 
2. Format a micro SD card to FAT32.
3. Copy "pocket_firmware_x_x.bin" onto the root of the SD card. Only one firmware file can be in the root of the SD card, otherwise the firmware update may not work.
5. Power your Pocket off completely. It cannot be in sleep mode.
6. Insert the SD card into your Pocket SD card slot.
7. Power your Pocket on.
8. Your Pocket will automatically begin to update. A update progress bar will display on your Pocket. 
9. This will take a few minutes. Do not power down your Pocket during this process or disturb the unit in any way.
10. When your Pocket is finished updating, your Pocket will land on the home screen.
11. Your Pocket has now been updated.

How to update your Analogue Dock firmware

1. Download "pocket_firmware_x_x.bin" attached on this page. 
2. Format a micro an USB stick to FAT32.
3. Copy "pocket_firmware_x_x.bin" onto the root of the USB stick. Only one firmware file can be in the root of the USB stick, otherwise the firmware update may not work.
5. Unplug your Dock from Power completely.
6. Insert the USB Stick into either of your Dock's USB slots.
7. Plug power back into your Dock.
8. Your Dock will automatically begin to update. A update progress bar will display on Dock if it is plugged into a TV. The LED's will also flash, indicating the firmware update is occurring. 
9. This will take a minute or so. Do not power down your Dock during this process or disturb the unit in any way.
10. When your Dock is finished updating, the progress bar will be complete and the LED's will stop flashing. Now you can Dock Pocket. 

TROUBLESHOOTING updating your firmware

If you are having any trouble updating your firmware, please try ALL of these steps until your firmware can be updated successfully.

1. Re-download the latest firmware update below (the one you downloaded could be corrupted)
2. Re-format your SD card to FAT32.
3. If neither of these work, try another SD card AND another SD card formatting tool and repeat steps 1-2.
4. If firmware updating will sill not work, try downloading the latest firmware update from another browser or computer. Make sure you are using FAT32 specifically as the formatting option and not an alternative FAT formatting.
